Find the Keywords that really works

I covered already some of the keyword basics in previous blog "Choosing the right domain name" but now I will reveal some more tips on how to find the keywords that really works. If you are starter- read it carefully. If you advanced or professional internet marketer you can skip this, but there might be some good information you probably simply forgot. Sometimes we forgetting the simplest things while looking for the difficult solutions and thinking: more complicated- better should be. Geniality is hiding in simplicity. Sorry for my english but I'm not Oxford graduate (despite heaving Hon's in BA) and never learned it at the first place. All I picked up just in couple of years while living in UK (same as German and Russian, and couple of other languages).
While you been looking for the domain name you already came across some of the keywords and successfully used. But you will still need them to optimise your page, blog, article or whatever you like. Here is the main things where you will use your keywords:

1. In your title html code (title has include at least one keyword)
2. In your site's meta description (description of your site up to 120 characters using keywords)
3. In your site's meta keywords (6-12 keywords)
4. On your site's, blog's or article's content
5. Writing the adds (especially when you use Adwords, so called PPC or PPV)

So, you will need a bunch of keywords or, I would better say,  keyword variations. Do the research, use them right and this will increase your PR (page ranking) significantly. Wouldn't be nice to see your site on Google's or Yahoo's first page? This is when you really start earn decent money.
Lets say you niche is  Holidays. If you check on google keyword tool you will come up with 37 mln monthly searches worldwide and 136 mln results on google's main page. What is the chances to succeed in that competition? Probably looks less than win the lottery. So, just forget everything and go get the Lottery ticket, sit back and wait for results as you have more chances in winning this. I'm kidding:) You have more chances than you think!
It all depends on the quality you use your keywords throughout your website, blog or article. Let's say if you go for "cheap europe holidays" or "cheap holidays to cannes" instead of "holidays", that makes more precise. Instead of word "holidays" you can use "vacation" (as this one is more popular in US) or simply "trip". So, try to use long tale keywords and all possible keyword variations as this has less competition and brings more targeted traffic to your website to.

Tip: In google search bar type in ~keyword (eg ~holidays). This will bring up al the associated keyword synonyms highlighted.

My suggestion: type in the search engine the keyword most relevant to you, research the websites which ones comes up first. Copy them and do the same. I don't mean copy 1to1 (as you might be in trouble), but this gives your a good idea. Open the first position website and look at the "view source". Look at  the keywords they use. Do the same with the next one and so on until you shout out: "Eureka" :)
If they successfully applied them, you can too. But this is only first step towards SEO.
You have to use them correctly throughout your content. And don't forget: you HAVE to use them NATURALY. If not using at all it doesn't makes sense to put them at the first place. But on this I will write in one of my next blogs.

Tip: Don't drop the keywords that hasn't got big volume in searches. If they had last month only 150 searches, maybe in two months or so can be 15000. They might be seasonal. Good example is "christmas". How many for as searching for "christmas" in summer time and how many before Christmas? Does it makes sense?

This is it for now. Will write about it more later. I remembered "This is it" of Michael Jackson straight away. I loved that guy. He is legend. Thinking of doing some remix out of one of his songs. If I do, I will let you know and all my followers will download it for free. but in the meantime you can check my other tunes on www.myspace.com/stereomass. Sorry, but there is only old ones.

Oh, and BTW- successful searches for the keywords.
